My name is Szabina Piller; I was born on October 7, 1997, in Budapest, Hungary. I spent 14 years as a competitive athlete, beginning my journey as a swimmer before transitioning to kayaking at age seven. Kayaking has become both my passion and my sport, and I have achieved significant success in it.
I was a qualified Hungarian national kayak team member for seven years. I have traveled worldwide and won the Hungarian championship 12 times, the Olympic Hopes competition 11 times, and the European and World championships.
In addition to my athletic career, I obtained a degree in sports management. I worked for the University Sport Federation and the Hungarian Sport Ministry. Alongside my professional career, I also had opportunities to model.
In 2022, at 23, I moved to America, leaving behind my family, job, and friends in Hungary. I looked for new challenges and opportunities for personal growth. Over the past two years, I have adapted to my new life, overcoming various challenges and developing a stronger, more confident me.
I aim to inspire young girls, whether athletes or not, to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams. My message to them is: “Believe in yourself even if no one else does. You can do it!”
